PLANS FOR THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE FOR 2020-21 ARE BEING DETERMINED DUE TO COVID-19.

Families of St. Mary Parish are asked to contribute to the St. Vincent de Paul Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please send the following non-perishable food items to school. If you have several children in school please do not feel obligated to send something with each child. Items will be collected in the classrooms and picked up by students working with St Vincent de Paul members on November 21. There will also be containers in the classrooms for the collection of money to provide turkeys for families who cannot afford them.

IN ORDER TO PREVENT AN OVER OR UNDER SUPPLY OF ITEMS, WE SUGGEST THE FOLLOWING FOR EACH GRADE:

•  3K-4K Kindergarten: Cranberry Sauce, syrup, cookies or other sweets
•  Kindergarten: Pasta (macaroni, spaghetti, etc.), pancake mix, crackers(graham, saltines, etc.)  
•  Grade 1: Juice (boxed, canned, or plastic bottles), baby food, baby wipes and diapers
•  Grade 2: Stuffing, canned vegetables, coffee, tea, jelly, jam, gravy
•  Grade 3: Sweet potatoes, muffin or cake mixes, and instant or boxed potatoes
•  Grade 4: Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, Kleenex)
•  Grade 5: Flour, sugar, rice, noodle mixes, fruit roll-ups, fruit snacks
•  Grade 6: Hand soap, dish detergent, small bottles of laundry detergent, toothpaste and brushes
•  Grade 7: Canned meats, tuna, beef stew, chicken
•  Grade 8: Spaghetti sauce, small cans of coffee, canned soup, Hot Chocolate Mix
