3K Program

3K Mission Statement

The primary goal of our three-year-old program is to provide a quality education for your child by teaching developmentally appropriate educational basics and developing social skills through play and interaction with others.

Our Program

Our curriculum will follow the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. We will provide a balanced, hands on approach, so your child can learn through play. We will incorporate an introduction of the alphabet and numbers as well as other basic learning skills, such as listening and taking turns. We will offer a full curriculum, which includes: Religion, reading, math, science, social studies, art, music, and library.

Expectations

  • Must be three years of age as of September 1st
  • Must be potty trained
  • Children are encouraged to socially participate in all activities

Class Size

Maximum class size is 14 students with one teacher and one teaching assistant. 

Classes offered 

New for the 2023-2024 school year, both full-day and half-day options are available in all three of the following:

2 Day 3K
Tuesday and Thursday

3 Day 3K
Monday, Wednesday, Friday

5 Day 3K
Monday through Friday

Drop Off/Pick up

  • Classes start at 7:45 a.m.

Your child can be dropped off in the classroom beginning at 7:30 a.m.

  • Classes end at 10:50 a.m. for half-day students, and at 2:40 p.m. for full-day students.

Pick children up in the upper parking lot. Students exit out of the school office doors.


 4K Program

 4K Mission Statement

The primary goal of our 4-year-old kindergarten program is to provide developmental education for our children that will prepare them for their next step in schooling: kindergarten. We believe that our primary responsibility is to provide a safe and trusting environment for children and their families. Each child learns at a different pace and in a different way. We believe that through time, preparation, guidance, and lots of love and compassion, your child will reach a level of success.

Our Program

We offer a full curriculum, which includes: Religion, Reading, Science, Math Science, Social Studies, Writing, Physical Educaiton, Art, Music, Technology and Library.

Expectations

  • Must be four years of age as of September 1st
  • Children are encouraged to socially participate in all activities
  • Must be independently toilet trained and be able to do the following: 
    • Be able to pull down their underwear and pants and get them back up without assistance.
    • Be able to wipe themselves independently.
    • Be able to use automatic flushing toilets without assistance.
    • Be able to go directly back to the room after using the bathroom.

8:00 - 8:25 Calendar/Morning Message/Weather/Song
8:25 - 9:00 Circle Time or Table Activity
9:00 - 9:15 Prayer/Snack
9:15 - 10:00 Story and Play Time in the Classroom
10:00 - 10:30 Centers/Group Project
10:30 - 10:50 Outdoor recess in warm weather/game or extended centers
10:50 - 11:30 LUNCH
11:30 - 12:00 Project/Story
12:00 - 12:30 Special class (gym, music, art, library, computers)
12:30 - 1:00 Outside recess
1:00 - 1:45 Bathroom Break/Nap Mats Out/Nap
1:45 - 2:30 Snack/Prayer/Project/Activity
2:30 - 2:40 Dismissal

 Typical Half Day Schedule

7:45 - 8:00 Unpack/Prayers/Announcements
8:00 - 8:25 Calendar/Messages/Weather/Songs, etc.
8:25 - 8:45 Circle time
8:45 - 9:00 Snack
9:00 - 9:05 Story related to weekly theme
9:05 - 9:30 Centers/Tables/Group project time
9:30 - 10:00 Specials (phy-ed, music, library, computers)
10:00 - 10:40 Finish activities and have free choice or outside recess
10:40 - 10:45 Wrap-up, share, book, or circle activity
10:45 - 10:50 Pack-up/Home

  • AM class starts at 7:45 a.m.
