Why I am Glad America is a Nation of Immigrants

Students were encouraged to participate in a nationwide essay contest sponsored by the American Immigration Council and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. The theme of the writing contest focused on, “Why I am Glad America is a Nation of Immigrants.” St. Mary Parish School is excited to announce that Ryan’s essay was awarded second place. For his writing efforts, Ryan received $75.00 along with a certificate. The St. Mary Parish School is proud of Ryan’s hard work and dedication to the craft of writing.
