Festival 2018: News & Needs

The 2018  Festival will be held July 13th, 14th, and 15th.

No Parking? No Problem. Ride the Shuttle Bus!

New this year! To ease parking hassles around the Parish grounds, a shuttle bus will run on Friday and Saturday nights, from 5:00 to 11:30 p.m. It will travel back and forth between the Park & Ride on Hwy 100, just north of Edgerton Avenue, and the Parish’s upper parking lot off of Allenwood Lane.

Donations Are Needed for the Festival Raffle Booth

We are looking for, and would especially appreciate gift baskets, Scrip (gift cards), sports-related items, outdoor games, tools, kitchen appliances, etc. - really any new, large or small item. Drop off donations at the Parish Office, or contact Julie Job, Raffle Booth Coordinator, (414) 313-6340, if you need items picked up or if you need donation ideas.

It's All About Location
Looking for locations for yard advertising signs.

This year we would like to find more locations where we can place our yard signs to advertise the festival and its dates. Specifically, we want to add some sites east of Hyw. 100 on several of the key east/west streets such as Edgerton, Grange, College, Rawson or Drexel. If you have a home or business with good visibility on one of those streets and don’t mind having a yard sign up for a few weeks, please let us know.

 Chairperson Opportunites for 2019

We are already holding meetings and getting prepared for this year’s event. One of our biggest challenges each year is identifying people who are willing to be a chairperson for an area or responsibility.

Being a chairperson does not mean you have to do it all by yourself. Many areas have multiple people in charge. This is a great way to spread the work load, so find another individual or couple to help out.

2019 Chairperson Vacancies

Take advantage of on-the-job training; work with the 2018 crew to lead with confidence in 2019!

In Need of Those Who Know When and Where to Spark!
If you are the go-to guy or gal who knows how to keep the lights on, the refrigerators humming, and the music booming, we need you!

ELECTRICIAN
Bruce Czajka has led this area for many years and decided this will be his last year. We are looking for someone to work with Bruce this year and then be able to take over in 2019.

Love to Let Loose and Laugh Locally?
If you are the first person people call for a recommendation when they want to spend an evening out enjoying local talent, this job is for you!

ENTERTAINMENT DIRECTOR
We need someone who is interested in and knows about the local band scene in the Milwaukee metro area to help book entertainment for the Festival in 2019.

What Are Your Gifts?
Tell us what you love to do and we'll find a way to incorporate your talents!

If you are interested in any of the positions for this year or have a willingness to get involved in the near future, please call Bob or Dave.

We are happy to talk with anyone who is willing to take on a position of responsibility for the festival. There are many ways in which one could get involved, we are sure we can find a match for your talents and interests.
