St. Ben's Community Meal

Capuchin Community Services:
Serving the Poor, the Hungry, the Homeless since 1968

Their Mission

Inspired by the gospel of Jesus and the example of Francis of Assisi, the Capuchin friars of the Province of Saint Joseph, together with our partners in ministry, prayerfully build sister-brotherhood in the world. We attend simply and directly to the spiritual and other basic human needs, especially those of the poor and disenfranchised, promoting justice for all.

Our Partnership

At St. Mary, we strive to be Christ's compassion to the men, women, and children seeking a warm meal in downtown Milwaukee by providing a home-cooked meal, once a month. The power of partnership creates a mutual bond of love as we see the face of God in each other.

Get Involved

The second Thursday of each month, St. Mary serves the evening meal at St. Ben's Community Meal.

Please bring your food that day to the cart outside the Parish Office, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or to the upper parking lot, 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.

If you wish to prepare and/or serve food, contact the St. Ben's Community Meal Liaison to get involved.

In the pursuit of peace and justice,
we strive to be the compassion
of Christ
as we advocate for and minister to
those in need.
